!! An Evening of Music & Art !!
Miriam Curtis held an evening of MUSIC & ART featuring classical, jazz and contemporary music with fine artist Helen Parsley, on 13th September 2007 at Flixton House, Manchester. All proceeds from the concert were donated to FOLKS.
!! John Conlon Ran the 2007 London Marathon in Support of FOLKS !!
John Conlon successfully ran the 2007 London Marathon (22nd April) in support of FOLKS, in 4hrs 25mins.
!! Amy Alsop Ran the 2007 Bath Half Marathon in Support of FOLKS !!
On 25th March, Amy Alsop ran the Bath Half Marathon in Support of FOLKS.

Miriam Curtis held an evening of MUSIC & ART featuring classical, jazz and contemporary music with fine artist Helen Parsley, on 23rd November 2006 at Flixton House, Manchester. All proceeds from the concert were donated to FOLKS.
!! Cathy Cowie took the Plunge! - 25th May 2006 !!
Cathy successfully raised £1,600 for FOLKS by fulfilling a
long time love to perform a sky dive on 25th May 2006. Read her

!! Patrick and Marie-Suzanne Magee ran the Manchester 10K - 21st May 2006 !!
Patrick and Marie-Suzanne supported FOLKS and raised £900 by successfully running the Manchester 10 km marathon on 21st May 2006.
!! Jo and Dave Gilhooly conquered Hadrian's Wall - 31st July to 5th August 2006 !!
Jo and Dave celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, and supported FOLKS, by walking the length of Hadrian's Wall (84 miles) from 31st July to 5th August 2006. To date they have raised a fantastic £2,400.

For any sponsorship, FOLKS may be able to claim a tax recovery through the UK Government's Gift Aid scheme. This means that if you are a UK tax payer and pay tax at least equal to the donation you make, FOLKS will be able to claim 28p on every £1 donated.
